Pilates Mat Classes
Our one-hour Pilates mat classes will help you develop improved posture and core control. Based on the fundamental exercises developed by Joseph Pilates, these exercises coordinate diaphragmatic breathing with properly sequenced contractions of the pelvic floor, deep abdominals and deep stabilizing back muscles. These exercises emphasize precise alignment and coordination of movement.
Susan teaches these small group classes using a variety of small tools including balls, bands, and rings. Classes challenge balance, core stability, strength, and flexibility.
Classes are ongoing and open to all levels.
